The current structure showcases distinctive Maratha-era red stone architecture, rebuilt in the 18th century, and remains a genuinely active place of worship rather than a purely historical site — expect to see pilgrims, offerings and the everyday rhythm of temple life.
Visiting Etiquette
As with any active temple, dress modestly and be prepared to remove footwear before entering. Photography inside the inner sanctum is often restricted, so check signage or ask locally before taking pictures near the main shrine.

The temple is open daily from around 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM, with no entry fee.
